Soya Chunks Kurma/Meal Maker Kurma





Ingredients:

Mini Soya Chunks - 1 Cup

Oil - 1 tblspn

Jeera - 1 tspn

Urad dal - 1 tspn

Curry Leaves - 6

Soya Chunks - 100gm

Mustard Seeds - 1 tspn

Onion - 2 chopped very fine

Ginger Garlic paste - 2 tspns

Tomatoes - 2 chopped very fine

Turmeric powder - 1/4 tspn

Salt - 1 to 2 tspns

Red Chilli powder - 2 to 3 tspn

Sugar - 1/4 tspn

Curry Masala/Sambar Masala - 1 tblspn

Groundnut Powder - 1 tblspn (Optional)

Til Powder - 1 tblspn (Optional)

Coriander Powder - 1 Tblspn


Method :

1)Boil Water, add soaya chunks cook for 5 mins, squeeze water and keep a side

2)Heat oil, add mustard sedds let it splutter then add urad dal, jeera, Curry leaves

3)After 2 mins add Chopped onio, gingergarlic paste , saute till onion turns light brown

4)Add Chopped tomatoes, turmeric powder, salt, spice powders , saute till oil seperates

5)Add Soya chunks, 1/2 cup of water cook till desired consistency

6)Add till powder, groundnut powder and cook for 5 mins

7)Serve hot with rice / roti's
