Lemon Dal/Nimmakaya Pappu

Today I am posting a simple and quick Dal recipe for comforting, flavourfull, tasty lemon dal recipe


Turdal - 2 Cups (Pressure Cooked)
Lemon - 1 Large
Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tspn
Salt - 1 to 2 tspn
Green Chilli Paste - 1 to 2 tspn

For Tadka:
Oil - 1 tblspn
Mustard Seed - 1/2 tspn
Urad Dal - 1/2 tsbn
Jeera - 1tspn
Hing - A pinch
Curry leaves - 4 to 5


1)Pressure Cook tur Dal to soft with turmeric pwder, chilli paste, salt

2)Heat kadai, add oil , add mustard seeds let it splutter then add urad dal, jeera, curry leaves, hing

3)Add tadka to dal then squeeze lemon , serve hot with rice topped with ghee
