Although we cook huge varieties coming from breakfast to dinner, but for every meal what to cook is the biggest puzzle to all ladies. Don't even ask me how much planning must be done for lunch box menu to meet the rules it must be filling, satisfying , not a routine one, new variety, tasty, healthy and it must suit for elders and kids otherwise who cooks one variety for one's box. In this learning , experimenting process I have learnt this beauty which can be prepared with less ingredients and also very quick.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: trebuchet; font-size: large;"> Process of cooking paneer fried rice is same as regular Chinese fried rice but a 2 mins process is extra, if we are getting a new variety, new compliment for spending 2 minutes isn't it worthy. Generally I am little scared to experiment paneer with rice varieties as little process here and there makes paneer so dry hard and taste less. To my surprise as I started with so many doubts it turned out be my family's favorite and tastes really different than regular Chinese Fried Rice. So why late Let's garb the ingredients to make Paneer Fried Rice.</span></p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjge5yxmlrL4Ck3JAQ3wubQioKy-9naNZt-e9SV6gT9c_UNHZNKCgPf4fo0BmEofluOUu1r5oNkng3Cg2O-SokPxiTho2dfTvieHUCOXtRWWHhue_u0cXXGztTbFhKH6nLhqJjeNl0D66ll/s1280/3b53edb9-5c54-4373-958b-1918f748a812.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1280" data-original-width="1280" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjge5yxmlrL4Ck3JAQ3wubQioKy-9naNZt-e9SV6gT9c_UNHZNKCgPf4fo0BmEofluOUu1r5oNkng3Cg2O-SokPxiTho2dfTvieHUCOXtRWWHhue_u0cXXGztTbFhKH6nLhqJjeNl0D66ll/s320/3b53edb9-5c54-4373-958b-1918f748a812.jpg" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><br /><a href="https://youtu.be/ZbIjwfkDum4" style="font-family: trebuchet; font-size: x-large;" target="_blank">Video recipes</a><p></p><p><span style="font-family: trebuchet; font-size: large;"><b>Ingredeints:</b></span></p><p></p><ul style="text-align: left;"><li><span style="font-family: trebuchet; font-size: large;">Rice - 2 Cups</span></li><li><span style="font-family: trebuchet; font-size: large;">Water - 1 - 3/4 Cup</span></li><li><span style="font-family: trebuchet; font-size: large;">Oil - 3 Tblspns</span></li><li><span style="font-family: trebuchet; font-size: large;">Soy sauce - 3 drops</span></li><li><span style="font-family: trebuchet; font-size: large;">Garlic - 3 Crushed</span></li><li><span style="font-family: trebuchet; font-size: large;">Carrot - Finely Chopped 1/4 Cup</span></li><li><span style="font-family: trebuchet; font-size: large;">Beans - Finely Chopped 1/4 Cup</span></li><li><span style="font-family: trebuchet; font-size: large;">Spring Onion - 1 Tblspn</span></li><li><span style="font-family: trebuchet; font-size: large;">Salt - acc to taste</span></li><li><span style="font-family: trebuchet; font-size: large;">White Pepper Powder - 1 Tblspn(adjust)</span></li><li><span style="font-family: trebuchet; font-size: large;">Paneer - 200 gms</span></li><li><span style="font-family: trebuchet; font-size: large;">Tomato Ketchup - 2 Tblspns</span></li><li><span style="font-family: trebuchet; font-size: large;">Red ChilliPowder 1 tspn</span></li></ul><p></p><p><span style="font-family: trebuchet; font-size: large;"><b>Method:</b></span></p><p></p><ol style="text-align: left;"><li><span style="font-family: trebuchet; font-size: large;">Cook rice in (rice)1 : 3/4(water) by adding 1 tspn oil.</span></li><li><span style="font-family: trebuchet; font-size: large;">Mix little bit and keep open to expose to air in case of any moist, this step is just to get rice to rice seperated and doesn't turn soft/ mashy while frying again.</span></li><li><span style="font-family: trebuchet; font-size: large;">Heat Kadai, add 1 Tblspn of oil, add Paneer Cubes(smaller than that we use for gravy) toss it in high flame.</span></li><li><span style="font-family: trebuchet; font-size: large;">Add tomato ketchup , pinch of salt, red chilli powder and toss till light brown. Today I came up with very basic curry recipe tastes best with rice / roti with very minimal ingredients. </span><div><span style="font-family: trebuchet; font-size: large;"> Beans is the vegetable which goes well with any vegetable, it mingles with any vegetable, wish human beings too mingle with others like beans. I cook beans coconut, aloo beans, tomato, beans, mixed vegetable, use in almost all biryanis, pulao's, fried rice. So, I make sure that atleast 100 gms of beans must be in stock for handy. </span></div><div><span style="font-family: trebuchet; font-size: large;"> Though we cook huge number of recipes, but still we crave for new recipes, new versions of vegetable curries, in search of that I got this new variety (atleast for me). We get this curry mostly when order South Indian Meals, I like simple flavors and enjoy with rice or roti. Today I thought to give try as curries play most important role in my family's lunch especially dry curries in Sunday for my full meal menu plan on Sunday's. Let's jump to recipe.</span></div><div><span style="font-family: trebuchet; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div><div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgA0W0WXgMzJi8QbCRdySUz41nSaxzSglQGLjdL5t_1Vw2hG2xywdRx7ZBoXOLKvXoUQrJjBRJIb0UIAdDJCsyE0CTdOH0OmyvMmzYtTvyK5bu2hS94KiiZwrWmSL7OajlBaJrmmGU46P9e/s1280/de952388-0ccb-4cba-a768-90d5589a1ab2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="960" data-original-width="1280" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgA0W0WXgMzJi8QbCRdySUz41nSaxzSglQGLjdL5t_1Vw2hG2xywdRx7ZBoXOLKvXoUQrJjBRJIb0UIAdDJCsyE0CTdOH0OmyvMmzYtTvyK5bu2hS94KiiZwrWmSL7OajlBaJrmmGU46P9e/s320/de952388-0ccb-4cba-a768-90d5589a1ab2.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br /><span style="font-family: trebuchet; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div><div><span style="font-family: trebuchet; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div><div><span style="font-family: trebuchet;"><a href="https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCcZgkdQr1FK0UcRAkNYESZg" target="_blank"><span style="font-size: x-large;">video Recipes</span></a><br /></span></div><div><span style="font-family: trebuchet; font-size: large;"><b><br /></b></span></div><div><span style="font-family: trebuchet; font-size: large;"><b>Ingredients:</b></span></div><div><span style="font-family: trebuchet; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div><div><ul style="text-align: left;"><li><span style="font-family: trebuchet; font-size: large;">Chopped carrot - 1 cup</span></li><li><span style="font-family: trebuchet; font-size: large;">Chopped Beans - 1 cup</span></li><li><span style="font-family: trebuchet; font-size: large;">Fresh grated Coconut - 2 Tblspns </span></li><li><span style="font-family: trebuchet; font-size: large;">Turmeric Powder - 1 tspn</span></li><li><span style="font-family: trebuchet; font-size: large;">Salt - according to taste</span></li><li><span style="font-family: trebuchet; font-size: large;">Red Chilli Powder - according to taste</span></li><li><span style="font-family: trebuchet; font-size: large;">Oil - 1 Tblspn</span></li><li><span style="font-family: trebuchet; font-size: large;">mustard seeds - 1 tspn</span></li><li><span style="font-family: trebuchet; font-size: large;">Spilt Urad Dal - 1 tspn</span></li><li><span style="font-family: trebuchet; font-size: large;">Jeera - 1 tspn</span></li><li><span style="font-family: trebuchet; font-size: large;">Hing - Big Pinch</span></li><li><span style="font-family: trebuchet; font-size: large;">Curry Leaves - 5 </span></li></ul></div><div><span style="font-family: trebuchet; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div><div><span style="font-family: trebuchet; font-size: large;">Note: if fresh coconut is not available soak dry / dessicated coconut in milk to get almost same taste like fresh one. But I strongly recommend fresh coconut.</span></div><div><span style="font-family: trebuchet; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div><div><span style="font-family: trebuchet; font-size: large;"><b>Method:</b></span></div><div><span style="font-family: trebuchet; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div><div><ol style="text-align: left;"><li><span style="font-family: trebuchet; font-size: large;">Heat Kadai, add oil</span></li><li><span style="font-family: trebuchet; font-size: large;">Add mustard seeds saute till it splutters, now add urad, jeera, hing, curry leaves.</span></li><li><span style="font-family: trebuchet; font-size: large;">Now add carrot, beans mix well and close it with water filled lid, this allows vegetables not to burn or not to over cook .. mostly by adding water and allowing to boil vegetable looses it's flavor little bit and may be chances of overcooking too. Always prefer to cook vegetables like this to lock taste and flavors.</span></li><li><span style="font-family: trebuchet; font-size: large;">Cook inlow to medium flame for 15 mins, check if cooked soft or else cook for some more time.</span></li><li><span style="font-family: trebuchet; font-size: large;">Now add turmeric, salt, red chilli powder, coconut mix well and cook for 5 more minutes.</span></li><li><span style="font-family: trebuchet; font-size: large;">Switch off stove and serve hot with roti's /rice.</span></li></ol><div><span style="font-family: trebuchet; font-size: large;"><b>For more curry recipes:</b></span></div></div><div><span style="font-family: trebuchet; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div><div><span style="font-family: trebuchet; font-size: large;">https://www.prathusfood.com/search/label/Curries</span></div><div><span style="font-family: trebuchet; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div><div><span style="font-family: trebuchet; font-size: large;"><b>Must Try recipe from our youtube channel:</b></span></div><div><span style="font-family: trebuchet; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div><div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><iframe allowfullscreen="" class="BLOG_video_class" height="348" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/zCTqVlHE7SI" width="410" youtube-src-id="zCTqVlHE7SI"></iframe></div><br /><span style="font-family: trebuchet; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div><div><br /></div>Prathima Shivrajhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02646883711083271190noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7609414530302019648.post-85976218832211037812021-07-03T02:43:00.001-07:002021-07-03T02:43:20.344-07:00Mixture || Guest post by Sowmya Suresh<p> <span style="font-family: trebuchet; font-size: large;">Today I am posting traditional mixture recipe, can be made under 30 mins with all available ingredients at home. font-size: large;">Today I am posting very basic yet heavenly methi tomato dal, usually we cook methi dal but adding small amount of tomato just for flavor takes this dal to other level I can say. I add methi leaves at a time to cook with dal to get good mix of leaves with dal, but who are concerned about nutrients can saute leaves while making dal process adding little bit of jaggary makes dal little sweet as I born in Brahmin's Family we use jaggary in few curries, little bit in all dals. trust me dish never turns sweeter but that small jaggary will do some magic with flavors. Make sure that all flavors must be mild in this dal for perfect taste. why late let's jump to recipe. </span></p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgf85cpevUfwNgnGydgk8zm7LpTA-h7RsJTy6iYv9HSBlwcWAfDNpL7Esy1ewxcujxnSnEyHhR5ctqYTdF5q_l9oJ4QxqHj0S1FhaZikj2xf8hZ-_9Zh6YtP9y8DnoWAhEF-PJgt8z3-o4t/s1280/bc868421-fb6e-4a83-ad82-1e414e6c6a16.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="720" data-original-width="1280" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgf85cpevUfwNgnGydgk8zm7LpTA-h7RsJTy6iYv9HSBlwcWAfDNpL7Esy1ewxcujxnSnEyHhR5ctqYTdF5q_l9oJ4QxqHj0S1FhaZikj2xf8hZ-_9Zh6YtP9y8DnoWAhEF-PJgt8z3-o4t/s320/bc868421-fb6e-4a83-ad82-1e414e6c6a16.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br /><span style="font-family: trebuchet; font-size: large;"><a href="https://youtu.be/IFfKEtl5K10" target="_blank">For Video Recipe</a><br /></span><p></p><p><span style="font-family: trebuchet; font-size: large;"><b>Ingredients:</b></span></p><p></p><ul style="text-align: left;"><li><span style="font-family: trebuchet; font-size: large;">Tur Dal - 1 cup</span></li><li><span style="font-family: trebuchet; font-size: large;">Methi Leaves - 1/2 Cup chopped</span></li><li><span style="font-family: trebuchet; font-size: large;">Tomato - only Half ( use 1 if very small)</span></li><li><span style="font-family: trebuchet; font-size: large;">Green Chillies -2</span></li><li><span style="font-family: trebuchet; font-size: large;">Tamarind - small lemon sized ball</span></li><li><span style="font-family: trebuchet; font-size: large;">Salt - according to taste (appr 1 Tblspn)</span></li><li><span style="font-family: trebuchet; font-size: large;">Red Chilli Powder - according to taste(appr 1 Tblspn)</span></li><li><span style="font-family: trebuchet; font-size: large;">Jaggary - 1 to 2 Tblspn(optional)</span></li><li><span style="font-family: trebuchet; font-size: large;">I recommend adding atleast peanut size so that it will not taste sweet but enhances flavor.</span> </li></ul><p></p><p><span style="font-family: trebuchet; font-size: large;"><b>Tadka:</b></span></p><p><span style="font-family: trebuchet; font-size: large;">Oil - 1 Tblspn</span></p><p><span style="font-family: trebuchet; font-size: large;">Mustard seeds - 1 tspn</span></p><p><span style="font-family: trebuchet; font-size: large;">Split Urad dal - 1 tspn</span></p><p><span style="font-family: trebuchet; font-size: large;">Jeera - 1 Tblspn</span></p><p><span style="font-family: trebuchet; font-size: large;">Hing - 1 big pinch</span></p><p><span style="font-family: trebuchet; font-size: large;">Curry Leaves - 1 strand</span></p><p><span style="font-family: trebuchet; font-size: large;"><b>Method:</b></span></p><p></p><ol style="text-align: left;"><li><span style="font-family: trebuchet; font-size: large;">Pressure cook dal, green chillies, methi leaves, tomatoes for 3 whistles (if concerned about nutrients of methi leaves can add methi leaves in further process)</span></li><li><span style="font-family: trebuchet; font-size: large;">Mean while soak tamarind.</span></li><li><span style="font-family: trebuchet; font-size: large;">Heat a kadi, add Tamarind pulp, add salt, red chilli powder, jaggary.</span></li><li><span style="font-family: trebuchet; font-size: large;">Bring it to boil, add cooked dal.</span></li><li><span style="font-family: trebuchet; font-size: large;">let it cook for 15 mins on low flame.</span></li><li><span style="font-family: trebuchet; font-size: large;">Add water or skip according to preferred consistency.</span></li><li><span style="font-family: trebuchet; font-size: large;">Keep it a side.</span></li><li><span style="font-family: trebuchet; font-size: large;">Heat Kadai, add mustard seeds, saute till seeds splutter, now add urad dal, Jeera, hing, curry leaves.
